Biblioteca de Santiago reúne por primera vez a dibujantes chilenos y cubanos

Gracias a la organización de la Escuela de Diseño Gráfico de la Universidad de Los Leones y el patrocinio de la Biblioteca de Santiago, la muestra expone a los dibujantes más destacados de los últimos 60 años.
La exhibición reúne caricaturas de famosas personalidades, portadas de revistas de la década de oro de la historieta chilena, dibujos eróticos, género manga, humor gráfico e ilustraciones infantiles.
Los artistas cubanos presentes son Joseph Rosado, Augusto González, Reinerio Tamayo, Tomás Rodríguez, Ramiro Zardoya y Arístides Hernández. Todas sus obras están marcadas por la crítica social y el relato de su historia política.
Entre los grandes maestros del dibujo chileno están Themo Lobos, Luis Percáres, Lincoln Fuentes, Jorge Carvallo, Luis Goyenechea Zegarra, Santiago Peñailillo, Manuel de La Cruz, Hernán Vidal, Eduardo De la Barra, Nelson Soto y Miguel Ortiz.
También jóvenes dibujantes nacionales expusieron sus trabajos, tales como Rafael Nangarí, Juan Vásquez, Cristián Díaz y Daniela Gallardo. Ellos aportan un espíritu más vanguardista con el arte digital.
El Tercer Salón del Cómic invita al público en general a sumarse a sus talleres, lanzamientos de libros y mesas redondas. Todas las actividades son sin costo y buscan enseñar sobre el arte del dibujo profesional.
Todavía está a tiempo si desea ensimismarse con el mundo de las caricaturas, historietas e ilustraciones. Una experiencia que todos debemos disfrutar, más aún si sólo es una vez al año visible en Chile.

Santiago Public Library gather Chilean and Cuban cartoonists for the first time

Thanks to the organization of the School of Graphic Design of the University of Los Leones and the sponsorship of the Santiago Public Library, the exhibit features the most outstanding cartoonists of the last 60 years.
The exhibition gathers caricatures of famous personalities, magazine covers of the golden decade of Chilean comic, erotic drawings, manga genre, graphic humour and children's illustrations.
The Cuban artists present are Joseph Rosado, Augusto Gonzalez, Reinerio Tamayo, Tomás Rodríguez, Ramiro Zardoya and Arístides Hernández. All of their artworks highlight social criticism and the story of his political history.
Among the great masters of Chilean drawing are Themo Lobos, Luis Percares, Lincoln Fuentes, Jorge Carvallo, Luis Goyenechea Zegarra, Santiago Peñailillo, Manuel de la Cruz, Hernan Vidal, Eduardo De la Barra, Nelson Soto and Miguel Ortiz.
Young national cartoonists also showcase their works, such as Rafael Nangarí, Juan Vásquez, Cristián Díaz and Daniela Gallardo. They bring a fresh spirit thanks to their digital art.
The Third Comic Salon invites everybody to join their all-ages workshops, book launches and roundtable discussions. All activities are free and seek to teach about the art of professional drawing.
There is still time if you want to wonder with the world of caricatures, cartoons and illustrations. An experience that we should all enjoy, even more, if only once a year is visible in Chile.
