El inventor del bolígrafo fue John Loud en 1888, un curtidor de pieles nortamericano que le puso una bolita a un tubo de tinta para marcas líneas en las pieles. Sin embargo, el húngaro Ladislao José Biro fue quien patentó y comercializó el invento.
The inventor of the ballpoint pen was John Loud in 1888, a North American leather tanner who put a ball to an ink tube to mark lines on the skins. However, the Hungarian Ladislao José Biro was who patented and commercialized the invention.
