Cardenal Raúl Silva Henríquez terminó su año académico 2007 con un
Festival del Cómic. El propósito fue acercar a sus estudiantes al arte y
promover a la nueva generación de dibujantes chilenos.
Diferentes artistas emergentes
y editores de publicaciones de cómics asistieron al encuentro. Así expusieron sus
obras y estuvieron compartiendo con el público.
También algunos de los grandes maestros de la tinta china de Chile, tales como
Luis Percáres y Miguel Ortiz, estuvieron presentes en el festival. Ellos valoraron el esfuerzo y la
calidad de los dibujos realizados por los nuevos dibujantes.
The Catholic University Cardenal Raúl Silva Henríquez organized a Comic Festival to complete their 2007 academic year. The purpose was to bring art to the students and promote the new generation of Chilean cartoonists.
Different emerging artists and editors of comic publications participated in the event. They featured their works and shared with the audience.
In addition, some of the great masters of Indian ink in Chile, such as Luis Percáres and Miguel Ortiz, were present at the festival. They valued the effort and quality of the drawings of the new cartoonists.
